What Makes the Nigerian driver's licence Hard to Parse

The Nigerian driver's licence is issued by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) together with state licensing authorities. Nigerian licences carry an alphanumeric licence number, the holder's details and the licence class (A to J), and fintech and mobility platforms commonly accept them as an identity document during onboarding. The challenge is getting the same structured record from photos taken on a wide range of phones.

One API Call, Named Fields

The StructOCR Driver License OCR API returns the licence number, the holder's name, date of birth, issue and expiry dates, address where printed and the licence class. Dates are returned as YYYY-MM-DD. Send a JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF as Base64 JSON or as a multipart upload; there is no SDK to embed in your app, although official Python and Node.js SDKs are available.
